Greg Reyes is a former executive who was the CEO of Brocade Communications Systems from 1998 to 2005. He was convicted in 2007 on charges related to stock option backdating, which involved manipulating stock option grant dates to boost their value. Reyes was sentenced to 21 months in prison and ordered to pay a $15 million fine. However, his conviction was later overturned in 2009 due to prosecutorial misconduct, and he was released from prison. Reyes maintains his innocence and has been involved in legal battles to clear his name.
